Clint Greene, DVM, DABVP is a 1992 graduate of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine and obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from Florida State University in 1988.
As the only private practitioner in the greater Gainesville area, and one of only 28 in the state that holds the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners' (ABVP) Diplomate status as a board certified Canine & Feline Specialist, Dr. Greene demonstrates exceptional knowledge, skill, competency, and communication in the care of the total patient.
He develops practical and individualized treatment plans with some of the most recent advances in the veterinary field, while continuing to provide the best of the more time-tested traditional treatment options. Dr. Greene’s areas of interest include orthopedics, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology, dermatology, cardiology, neurology, and behavior. Although not an exotic animal specialist, Dr. Greene also has a strong interest in treating other small mammal pets, such as rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, and rodents.
Dr. Greene is an active member of Creekside Community Church where he serves as a deacon and plays bass guitar on the worship music team. In 2007, he and several members of the congregation traveled to a remote area of Haiti providing veterinary care to the animals and Christian missionary support to the local church and school.
Dr. Greene and his wife, Leslie, have been married for almost 20 years and have two children (and three dogs). His interests outside of work include gardening, basketball, playing bass guitar, and camping with his family. |
